On a walk yesterday and saw these beauties :)

I am reminded that all this beauty is a reflection of the One who gave it....Do I have eyes to see it's Him and not the thing?........
Do I have eyes to see His face in all things?

7 months old!

Hi Friends,
I am very distracted these days!  So much to see...so much to do!
Favorite part of bath time: getting dried off...I like to roll around and pretend I am a monkey.

Daddy makes me laugh a lot!
I am quite chatty these days...."Ga-Ga" is mainly what I say but it means a lot of different things...I will tell you someday!

I am moving a lot more now too....I am an expert army crawler....I stop once in awhile to chew on my toys....
Have a good day!
Love,
Gavin

Book Review: Idols of the Heart Learning to Long for God Alone

Fantastic!
Such a great reminder that I should live for an audience of one...the Lord Jesus.  Is He your greatest treasure?  What are you desiring more than Him?  Needless to say, this book challenged my heart and brought me to my knees......
Definitely Recommended :)

Great is YOUR faithfulness....

Courageous

Saw the movie Courageous on Saturday night while my parents so kindly watched Gavin!  So thankful for a date night!  Korwin & I loved the movie & definitely recommend you seeing it too!

A couple reviews:
“The Spirit of God moved my heart as I viewed Courageous. The end result was a gospel resolve to gladly give myself more fully to loving my wife like Christ loves the church and raising my children in the fear and instruction of the Lord and his gospel. Please go and experience this movie!”—Kempton Turner

“I watched Courageous with my wife and was thoroughly engaged. I like action, and I like reflection, and I like affection—explosive moments, wrack-your-brain moments, and break-your-heart moments. Rarely do movies combine them all. For me this one captured me. Does the movie preach? Well, it sure has a point. But about the time you think you might get preached at, a bullet may cut through your car door. I would willingly take anyone to see this film, assuming they can handle suspense. And I think the conversations afterward would not be superficial.”John Piper
